Let’s get in to it; The drink was phenomenal “Dragon Fire-very fitting lol) I loved the smoke show!! The Chilled Hotty Totty- not so much but that’s a preference. She is miss the sugar rim : ( The crab cake appetizer were very delish and way larger then I expected. Good price point! Mozzarella sticks (can’t ever go wrong there) I got the Panhandle Tacos and whatever sauce they use absolutely made the tacos. I wish I could have bought some to take with me. I got crispy Brussels instead of the chip and salsa, I’m so glad I did! They’re the top 5 Brussels sprouts I’ve EVER eaten 8.5/10. I would come back just for that alone (well everything really). If you’ve never been here, get here!!!! I came in around 2pm on Friday and place was empty-SHOCKINGLY SURPRISED. Another great mention is a gentleman named Jay who was ever so kindly enough to give me a tour of the place. The upstairs is an astonishing large event space; bar area, separate kitchen, bridal suit with showers, and the most gorgeous bathrooms. Best in Birmingham from what I was told. If you are looking for lunch, drinks or an event space to rent for whatever reason look no further because this place is certainly it. When I tell you it’s the whole kit & caboodle! It was a beautiful venue and a perfect choice for the celebration. I especially want to recognize Ashley, who did a fantastic job coordinating everything. She was incredibly helpful throughout the evening, even going out of her way to find the various things we kept misplacing! Her calm and friendly presence made a big difference in helping things go smoothly. I highly recommend The Fennec for anyone planning a special event! ”

“ The Fennec is an awesome venue for any special event! Ramona(Event Sales Manager) is a gem! So personable and attentive to each detail! We rented out the Cypress Room for our youngest daughter’s college graduation lunch and everything was beyond splendid!! The service staff was very professional and super attentive and the food was DELICIOUS! (Hats off to the chef and kitchen staff). We enjoyed it so much so that we rented the Foxhole (dining room/bar area in the Fennec)for Mother’s Day Dinner!!! If you’re considering this venue for an event or just a casual lunch/dinner you won’t regret it!!!! ”

“ First time visiting. Good food, great service, and a live band! Can’t really beat that! The Fennec is a sports bar and grill. Great place to catch the game before the live band plays at 9pm. We ordered crab cakes and oysters Rockefeller. Both appetizers were good! For entrees we ordered shrimp and grits and the Hail Mary (fried catfish, fried shrimp and two sides). I chose Brussels sprouts and sweet potato fries with a hot honey drizzle as my sides. Food was great! We will return! Prices were affordable too! ”

“ Awesome sports bar with live music. This was our first time in Burmingham and we had recommendations to visit The Fennec, and we were not disappointed. The good was amazing, tried the wings and the double cheese smash burger and it was cooked perfectly on a toasted brioche bun. Service was excellent. Our waitress was great, attentive and constantly checked up on us. The bands were really good. Overall, great food, great service, great music and a great experience. Highly recommend you visit. ”

“ A hidden gem that's just a block away from Railroad Park. The food was very good. The atmosphere was very lively. The service was spot on. If you are near Downtown, Southside, or UAB, this is a great spot for lunch, dinner, or just drinks. ”

“ Good food and great live music. The Blazer Burger had a lot of interesting flavors that worked well together. The Panhandle Tacos (shrimp) were also terrific. But the band blew us away. Two acoustic guitars and a third guy on trumpet and flugelhorn and vocal harmonies. Really tight. Stay away from the pool tables, though. The balls get stuck. ”
